THE FIFE COUNCIL (CUPAR FARMERS MARKET)
(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2026

Fife Council has made an Order under the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984, the effect of which will be:-

(i)   to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic of Crossgate from St. Catherine St and Bonnygate to Kirk Wynd from 5am until 4pm on the following dates –

17/01/26; 21/02/26; 21/03/26; 18/04/26; 16/05/26; 20/06/26; 18/07/26; 15/08/26; 19/09/26; 17/10/26; 21/11/26 & 19/12/26; and

(ii)  to prohibit the waiting of vehicles on Crossgate from St. Catherine St and Bonnygate to Kirk Wynd and prohibit the waiting and loading of vehicles on both sides of Crossgate from Kirk Wynd (southwards for 5m) on Friday at 4.30pm until Saturday at 4pm on the following dates:-

       16-17/01/26; 20-21/02/26; 20-21/03/26; 17-18/04/26; 15-16/05/26; 19-20/06/26; 17-18/07/26; 14-15/08/26; 18-19/09/26; 16-17/10/26; 20-21/11/26; and 18-19/12/26.

The Order is to allow Cupar Farmers’ Market to be carried out in safety. The alternative route for vehicles will be via St. Catherine St, Station Rd and South Bridge. Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained. Alternative arrangements for the Crossgate Bus Stops are displayed within the bus shelters.
