What is happening?

WEST NORTHAMPTONSHIRE COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

(DALLINGTON GRANGE SPINE ROAD, (NORTH WEST RELIEF ROAD)

NORTHAMPTON) (30 & 40 MILES PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council has made an Order under Section 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

The effect of the Order is to impose a 30 and 40 miles per hour speed limit on that length of road described in the Schedules to this Notice. The Order will come into operation on 9th January 2026.

A COPY of the Order may be inspected at Kier Highways, Brixworth Depot, Harborough Road, Brixworth, Northants, NN6 9BX at a time and date specified by appointment only by calling 01604 529700. A copy of the Order can also be obtained on request by emailing WNCParkingenquiries@ kier.co.uk

CHALLENGE TO THE ORDER

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of the Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with, may apply to the High Court within six weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
