ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14
(HIGH STREET, GUILSBOROUGH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of High Street, Guilsborough as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of High Street, Guilsborough from the junction of Coton Road.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during water pipe repairs.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 19th January 2026 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 3 days.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Guilsborough Hill, Creaton Road, Hollowell Road, A5199 and Nortoft.

(BANBURY ROAD, UPPER BODDINGTON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Banbury Road, Upper Boddington as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Banbury Road, Upper Boddington from the junction of Claydon Road southeast for 200 metres.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during sluice valve repairs.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 19th January 2026 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 3 days.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Warwick Road, Banbury Road, Byfield Road, A361 and Welsh Road.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Banbury Road, Boddington as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Banbury Road, Boddington from the junction of Hill Road to Claydon Road.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during the decommission of a water main.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 26th January 2026 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 8 weeks.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use A361, Boddington Road, Byfield Road and Warwick Road.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along those lengths of Rugby Road/Onley Lane, Barby as set out below.
LENGTHS OF ROADS TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: Those lengths of Rugby Road/Onley Lane, Barby from the junction of Rugby Road to Onley Lane and the junction of Rugby Road to EC5.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during the replacement of 1km of water mains.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 26th January 2026 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Welton Lane, Welton from the junction of Cold Manor Court for 500 metres southeast.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during repairs.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 26th January 2026 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF CYCLING) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit cyclists from proceeding along that length of London Road, Daventry as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of London Road, Daventry from the junction of London Road with The Slade (closure of cycle lane).
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during repairs to sunken chamber.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 9th January 2026 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the cycle lane will be restricted for 3 days.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use London Road.
