NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF AN ORDER

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990,

SECTION 257

THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF CALDERDALE

ORDER NO. 03, 2025

RESTRICTED BYWAY BETWEEN TENTERFIELDS AND

BURNLEY ROAD, LUDDENDENFOOT

On 15th December 2025 Calderdale Council confirmed the above-named Order as unopposed.

The effect of the Order as confirmed will be to divert the above public restricted byway from point A on the Order map, grid reference SE04282421, at Tenterfields and running in a north westerly direction for 101 metres to point B, then running north easterly for 69 metres to point C, SE04232424 at Tenterfields. Continuing from point D, SE04232426, at Tenterfields in a north westerly direction for 97 metres to point E, SE04162433 at Burnley Road, onto a new route commencing point F on the Order map, grid reference SE04292411, at Tenterfields, and running in a generally northerly direction for 94 metres to point G, SE04292420, at Tenterfields. Continuing from point H, SE04282419, at Tenterfields for 165 metres in a north westerly direction to point I, then continuing in a north northeasterly direction for 71 metres to point J, SE04162433, at Burnley Road.

Central Library, Square Road, Halifax, HX1 1QG from

10.00 am to 6.30 pm on Mondays and Thursdays,

10.00 am to 5.30 pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and 10 am to 4.00 pm on Saturdays. Copies of the Order and map may be obtained at the same address. This Order comes into force on the date Calderdale Council certify that the terms of Article 2 have been complied with but if any person aggrieved by the order desires to question its validity or that of any provision contained in it on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or on the ground that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the order, he or she may apply to the High Court for any of these purposes under section 287 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 within 6 weeks from 8th January 2026, the date on which notice is first published as required by paragraph [7][8] of Schedule 14 to that Act.
