ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
(Shadwell Park Avenue, Harewood Leeds)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because road crossing works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s); Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which is that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Shadwell Park Avenue, Harewood, between its junctions with between its junctions with Shadwell Lane and Shadwell Park Close. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Shadwell Lane, Roundhay Park Lane, Shadwell Park Drive. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order shall come into operation on 19th January 2026 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by 25th January 2026.

(Temporary 30mph Speed Limit) Order 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN because that because ducting and signage works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s); Leeds City Council has today made an Order, the effect of which is that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel in excess of 30mph along Ring Road Weetwood, Ring Road Adel, Ring Road Moortown and Ring Road Meanwood (A6120), Leeds; between Lawnswood Roundabout and King Lane Roundabout. The Order shall come into operation on Monday 12 January 2026 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Friday 1st May 2026.

(Great George Street, Leeds)
(Temporary Prohibited Left Turn) Order 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works remove a traffic island on Woodhouse Lane are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s); Leeds City Council has today made an Order, the effect of which is that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to turn left from Great George Street, Leeds, into Woodhouse Lane. Diversionary routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Calverley Street, Portland Way and Woodhouse Lane, and via Dudley Way, St Annes Street, Cookridge Street, Rossington Street, Woodhouse Lane. The Order shall come into operation on 12 January 2026 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by 31 January 2026.

(Bedford Street, Park Row & South Parade, Leeds)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because fire remediation works on Bedford Chambers, are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s); Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which is that: 1. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Bedford Street, Leeds, for 30m from its junction with Park Row. 2. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to turn left out of Russell Street, Leeds, onto Park Row. 3. The bus gates located on Park Row, Infirmary Street and East Parade shall be suspended and available for use by all traffic following the diversion set out below. 4. No person shall cause or allow any vehicle to use the cycle lane on Park Row, Leeds, between Bedford Street and South Parade. 5. No person shall cause or allow any vehicle to stop, wait or park in the disabled parking bays located on the southern carriageway of South Parade, Leeds; nor in the taxi bays on the northern carriageway of South Parade, for approximately 30m from the junction with Park Row. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure of Bedford Street and banned left turn on Russell Street will be available via: Park Row, Infirmary Street, East Parade. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order shall come into operation on Monday 12th January 2026 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier.

(Montagu Crescent, Roundhay Leeds)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because gas replacement) works are being executed on or near the under mentioned highways, Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which is that: Phase 1: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to exit Montagu Crescent, Roundhay, at its Southerly junction into Oakwood Lane. Phase 2: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to exit Montagu Crescent, Roundhay, at its Northerly junction into Oakwood Lane. (These are one way closures at the junction only, with egress onto Oakwood Lane being temporarily prohibited). A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available by utilising the other direction of Montagu Crescent to exit onto Oakwood Lane. Essential access to premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order shall come into operation on 8 January 2026 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The closure will be in place for 24hrs per day. Phase 1 will continue from 8 January 2026 and is expected to be completed by 16 January 2026. Phase 2 is intended to come into operation from Monday 19th January 2026 and is expected to be completed by 30 January 2026.

(Temporary Traffic Management Measures) Order.
Leeds United 2026 Fixtures (Sovereign Street & Lowfields Road)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because of the likelihood of danger arising to the public (in relation to the holding of football matches at Elland Road), Leeds City Council, as traffic authority for the Leeds Metropolitan District, intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be to: 1. Prohibit all vehicles (other than buses), from stopping or waiting for a period exceeding 20 minutes, on that part of Sovereign St which runs for 18m in a SW direction, from the rear of the existing coach bay restriction. 2. Change the existing Loading restriction on Sovereign St to a shared Loading & Taxi restriction; and to Prohibit all vehicles (other than Hackney Carriages) from using the northern carriageway edge of that part Sovereign St, which runs for 16m, from a point 17m from its junction with Swinegate, 3. Prohibit all vehicles from proceeding along that part of Lowfields Rd; which runs from its junction with Elland Road up to the overpass with M621; (provided that such prohibition shall not extend to official vehicles being used in connection with any match). Where necessary local diversions will be in operation and signed as appropriate. The above restrictions are intended to operate on any day upon which a football match is to take place at Elland Rd Stadium, Leeds. The restrictions contained in paragraphs 1 and 2 above will be in force approximately three hours before the scheduled kick-off of each match until approximately three hours from the end of each match, whilst the restriction contained in paragraphs 3 above will be in force approximately one hour before the scheduled kick-off of each match until approximately one hours from the end of each match Premier League matches are currently scheduled to take place on 17 & 31 Jan; 7 & 28 Feb; 4 & 21 Mar; 18 Apr; 2 & 17 May 2026 For the avoidance of doubt, the Order will also apply to the above fixture dates, (or any alternative re-scheduled match dates, together with any cup ties to be held at Elland Road during the remainder of the 2026 football season. Access for emergency services and pedestrians will be maintained to all premises situated on or adjacent to any road or part of road to be closed or to which restrictions apply including other premises accessible for pedestrians from and only from such a road. (Aireborough Definitive Footpath No.103
(Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2026 Low Green to Cliffe Drive, Rawdon
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Leeds City Council is satisfied that use of the said footpath should be restricted by reason of the likelihood of danger arising to the public due to a broken culvert which has caused water to wash away the existing path. The Council has therefore today made an Order, the effect of which is that: No person shall proceed along Definitive Footpath Aireborough 103; from its junction with Low Green to the junction with Cliffe Drive, Rawdon. A diversionary route will be available via Low Green, Leeds Road, Definitive Footpath Aireborough 98, Definitive Footpath Aireborough 105, Definitive Bridleway Aireborough 104. The Order shall come into operation on 8 January 2026 and will remain in force 24 hours per day, for a maximum period of 6 months.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Leeds City Council, acting as the Local Traffic Authority (in exercise of its powers under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5,124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers) proposes to make the above Orders, the effect of which will be to introduce within the Farnley & Wortley Ward. 1. (City Wide) Order 2025 – Amendment Order No.6 2026 Stocks Rise, Seacroft
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Leeds City Council, acting as the Local Traffic Authority (in exercise of its powers under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5,124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers) proposes to make the above Order, the effect of which will be to introduce the following restrictions within the Killingbeck & Seacroft Ward. 1. No Waiting at any Time on: a. The northern side of Stocks Rise, from its junction with York Road for 28m. b. The southern side of Stocks Rise, from its junction with York Road for 31.5 metres. c. The east side of York Road, at its junction with Stocks Rise for 24.5m.
