What is happening?

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AND SUSPENSION OF ONE-WAY ORDER
A6175 MARKET STREET, CLAY CROSS

WHEN: 12 January to 12 June 2026.
WHERE: A6175 Market Street, Clay Cross between its Jct. with Bridge Street and its Jct. with the A61 High Street.
REASON: To facilitate construction of a pedestrianisation zone.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A61 High Street, Harris Way, Bridge Street, Furnace Hill Road, A6175 Market Street Clay Cross and vice versa.
The road closure and one way suspension will be in force for the time stated or until the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).
