What is happening?

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
A6187 HATHERSAGE ROAD,
SHEFFIELD ROAD, SHEFFIELD


WHEN: 09 January to 12 January 2026.
WHERE: A6187 Hathersage Road, Sheffield Road, Sheffield at Burbage Bridge Toads Mouth between Jct. with B6521 and Jct. with Fiddlers Elbow.
REASON: To facilitate bore holes excavations.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A625 Froggatt Edge, New Bridge, Grindleford Road, Froggatt Road, A623, B6049 Bradwell, Stretfield Road, A6187 and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
