THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AS AMENDED BY
THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council
intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to
make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being or proposed to
be executed on or near the road and the effect will be to prohibit
any vehicle from proceeding in that length of Old Doncaster
Road at Denaby Main in the City of Doncaster District as
described in the Schedule to this notice on the dates and times
referred to in the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst bridge painting works are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that there is no alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order. Those residents and businesses directly
affected by the works will be notified of the scheme and access
arrangements.

THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council
intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to
make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being or proposed to
be executed on or near the roads and the effect will be to
prohibit any vehicle from entering, proceeding or waiting in those
lengths of road at Mexborough in the City of Doncaster District
and suspend the One Way Order as described in the Schedule
to this notice on the dates and times referred to in the said
Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst final carriageway surfacing works are
undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order is as described in the Schedule to this
notice
Any vehicle that is in contravention of the waiting restriction
imposed by this Order may be removed under the provisions of
the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986. Any
contravention of the prohibitions or restrictions imposed by this
Order may result in a Penalty Charge Notice being issued and
the subsequent removal of a vehicle.

2) Close Garden Street, Mexborough from its junction with Bank
Street for 35m in a north westerly direction
3) Close Station Road from Bank Street to Car Park Service
Road, Mexborough from its junction with Bank Street for 23m in
a southerly direction
4) Suspend the current One Way Order on Garden Street,
Mexborough to facilitate residential and business access
5) Close Market Street Access to Market Place, Mexborough
from its junction with Station Road in its entirety
6) Close High Street, Mexborough from its junction with Garden
Street for 7m in a westerly direction
7) Suspend the current One Way Order on High Street,
Mexborough to facilitate business access.
Dates and Times
On or after 19:00hrs 19th January 2026 until 07:00hrs 24th
January 2026.
Closures to only be in place between 19:00hrs and 07:00hrs
daily.
In the event of engineering difficulties and/or adverse weather
conditions, the closure may extend beyond this date although all
closures to be completed by the 28th February 2026
