Church Street, Matlock Road - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
CHURCH STREET, MATLOCK ROAD, WESSINGTON
WHEN: 15 January to 22 January 2026 (19:00 to 06:00 nightly)
WHERE: Church Street, Matlock Road, Wessington between Oak Tree Farm and Wessington Green.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway patching / resurfacing.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A615, A61, A619, A632, A615 and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
