What is happening?
PUBLIC NOTICE
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(CLARE CRESCENT) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Clare Crescent outside property 12.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken on 19 January 2026, between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00.
The diversion route is: Mount Road, Turner Avenue, and vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate the repair/replacement of a defective line from within the manhole chamber by Severn Trent Water.
