Moorings Way - Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting
What is happening?

Portsmouth City Council (Moorings Way) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting) (No.17) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 22nd January 2026 and the effect will be as follows:
A) TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
MOORINGS WAY
From outside No.150 to No.180 Moorings Way on both sides.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate bus stop improvement works.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 22nd January 2026 to 12th February 2026 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
D) DIVERSION
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
