Norman Road - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
NORMAN ROAD, RIPLEY
WHEN: 15 January 2026 (between 09:30 to 15:30 only)
WHERE: Norman Road, Ripley, from the Jct. of Jubilee Avenue for approx. 20m south.
REASON: To facilitate a defective manhole replacement.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Heage Rd, Cromford Rd, High St, Derby Rd, Elms Ave and vice versa. Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
