Warwickshire County Council has made the following
Temporary Traffic Orders:
TOLER ROAD, NUNEATON
Order Effect: Road Closed to vehicular traffic. In addition the oneway traffic flow on Toler Street will be temporarily suspended.
Reason for Order: To enable works to repair/replace defective manhole frame and covers.
Order Commences: 12 January 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 12 January 2026.
Access & Diversion: Jodrell Street, Aston Road and vice versa. Contractor: CSP, Tel: 07918 298 599.
CLINIC DRIVE, NUNEATON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic
Reason for Order: Carriageway patching and associated works, overnight 20.00hrs-06.00hrs.
Order Commences: 11 January 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 12 January 2026.
Access & Diversion: No diversion.

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between its junctions with Ramsden Avenue.
Reason for Order: Carriageway patching and associated works, 08.00hrs-16.00hrs.
Order Commences: 13 January 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 13 January 2026.
Access & Diversion: No diversion available.

ABBOTSFORD ROAD, ATTLEBOROUGH, NUNEATON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To enable cabling diversion and associated work.
Order Commences: 12 January 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 14 January 2026.
Access & Diversion: Abbotsford Road, Roxburgh Road, Leyland Road, Marston Lane and vice versa.

COLLEGE STREET, NUNEATON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Works to repair/replace defective manhole frame and covers, overnight 19.00hrs-06.00hrs.
Order Commences: 12 January 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 13 January 2026.
Access & Diversion: Coventry Road, Chilvers Rise, College Street and vice versa.

TOPPS DRIVE, BEDWORTH
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Works to renew long pipe.
Order Commences: 14 January 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 16 January 2026.
Access & Diversion: Topps Drive, Hammersley Street, Smith Street, Heath Road, Goodyers End Lane and vice versa.

TULLIVER ROAD, NUNEATON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To safely enable access to manhole to repair/ reline drainpipe.
Order Commences: 14 January 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 15 January 2026.
Access & Diversion: Sorrell Road, Donnithorne Avenue, Dorlecote Road, Tulliver Road and vice versa.
Contractor: Traffix, Tel: 08008 199 001.
BRIDGE STREET AND CHURCH STREET, NUNEATON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To provide safe area for demolition works.
Order Commences: 17 November 2025 for up to 18 months.
Unfortunately, these works were delayed but are now rescheduled for 19 January 2026.
Anticipated Completion: 20 February 2026.
Access & Diversion: Bond Gate, Bond Street, Newtown Road, Harefield Road, Newdegate Street and vice versa.

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
LINK ROAD BETWEEN GIPSY LANE AND B4112 BULKINGTON LANE, NUNEATON (BUS STOP LAYBY)
Order Effect: Road Closed to vehicular traffic from Gipsy Lane to Bulkington Road.
Reason for Order: To safely enable footway patching and associated works, 09.30hrs -15.00hrs.
Order Commences: 27 January 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 27 January 2026.
Access & Diversion: Gipsy Lane, Bulkington Lane and vice versa.

BAYTON ROAD, BEDWORTH
Order Effect: Road Closed to vehicular traffic. In addition, the oneway traffic flow on Bayton Road, Bedworth will be temporarily suspended.
Reason for Order: To enable works for repair/replacement of defective manhole frame and covers.
Order Commences: 29 January 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 29 January 2026.
Access & Diversion: Bayton Road, Coventry Road and vice versa.

QUEENS ROAD, NUNEATON
Order Effect: Road Closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To enable repair/replacement defective manhole frame and covers.
Order Commences: 25 January 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 25 January 2026.
Access & Diversion: Queens Road, Croft Road, Arbury Road, Heath End Road, Bull Ring, College Street, Chilvers Rise, Coventry Road, Coton Road, Jubilee Way and vice versa. Access to Bracebridge Street will be maintained.

BAYTON ROAD, BEDWORTH
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To enable repair/replacement of defective manhole frame and covers.
Order Commences: 27 January 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 28 January 2026.
Access & Diversion: Colliery Lane North, Colliery Lane, Coventry Road, Bayton Road and vice versa.
Contractor: CSP, Tel: 07918 389 363.
For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
