C56B – TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
“The Aberdeenshire Council (C56B Auchiries-Hill of Dens-Faichfield Road – 12.01.26) (Temporary Closure to Vehicular Traffic) (2) Order, 2026” has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.
The order will operate from 12.01.26 for 2 weeks and will introduce a road closure on the C56B AuchiriesHill of Dens-Faichfield Road from the C60B to C64B. This is a rolling programme of work at a number of sites. It is not possible to provide exact dates for each site, however the restriction will only be in force when signs indicative of the closure are displayed at the location.
Access will be provided for emergency and vehicles requiring access to properties but may be subject to delay until the road is cleared of construction plant to allow safe passage through the works.
The temporary restriction is necessary in the interests of public safety due to patching and drainage works. An alternative route is available via the C64B, A90, C60B and vice versa.
