THE COUNTY OF DEVON (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION) (A3052 FOUR ELMS HILL, NEWTON POPPLEFORD) ORDER 2026 TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order.

From 5/1/26 for a maximum of 18 months. Anticipated Finish 13/2/26. Between the hours of 20:00 & 06:00. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed on the sections of Affected Roads. Roads affected: A3052 FOUR ELMS HILL, NEWTON POPPLEFORD.

The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - FROM LOWER WAY, NEWTON POPPLEFORD A3052 - JUNCTION 30 IN EXETER: FROM JUNCTION 30, SIDMOUTH ROAD – B3212 - HONITON ROAD & THE A30. VEHICLES WILL EXIT THE A30 AT HONITON ONTO EXETER ROAD (A30), THEN DIVERT DOWN THE A375 SIDMOUTH ROAD - A3052 SIDFORD.

This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: KERBING THE EDGE OF THE WESTBOUND LANE OF THE A3052, INSTALLING A NEW HEADWALL & MAINTENANCE LAYBY.
