ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) AND 14(7)
PART OF HAGUE LANE WENTWORTH ROTHERHAM
(TEMPORARY 30 MILES PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT RESTRICTION)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily suspend part of The Rotherham Borough Council (Various Roads, Rotherham) (Speed Limits and Speed Derestriction) (Consolidation) Order 2004 and reduce the speed limit from 60 miles hour to 30 miles per hour for motor vehicles travelling along that part of Hague Lane from its junction with B6089 Cortworth Lane Cortworth Lane/Main Street for its entirety for numerous occasions between Monday 12th January and Thursday 30th April 2026.
The reason for the speed limit order is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Safety of site personnel whilst undertaking Installation of new sewer).
