(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because carriageway resurfacing and street lighting installation works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways; Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Racecourse Approach, Wetherby, Leeds in the Wetherby Ward, between its junctions with Sandbeck Lane and York Road. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: York Road, Rowland Meyrick Way, Hudson Way, Sandbeck Approach and vice-versa. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Wednesday 7 January 2026 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Saturday 21st February 2026. The closure will be in place between 20:00 hrs in the evening until 05:30 hrs the following morning. K Krawczyk. Ref: ICO2500081

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because road crossing works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s); Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Shadwell Park Avenue, Harewood, between its junctions with between its junctions with Shadwell Lane and Shadwell Park Close. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Shadwell Lane, Roundhay Park Lane, Shadwell Park Drive. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on 19th January 2026 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Temporary 30mph Speed Limit) Order 2026 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN because that because ducting and signage works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s); Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel in excess of 30mph along Ring Road Weetwood, Ring Road Adel, Ring Road Moortown and Ring Road Meanwood (A6120), Leeds; between Lawnswood Roundabout and King Lane Roundabout. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 12 January 2026 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Temporary Prohibited Left Turn) Order 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works remove a traffic island on Woodhouse Lane are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s); Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to turn left from Great George Street, Leeds, into Woodhouse Lane. Diversionary routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Calverley Street, Portland Way and Woodhouse Lane, and via Dudley Way, St Annes Street, Cookridge Street, Rossington Street, Woodhouse Lane. The Order is intended to come into operation on 12 January 2026 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because fire remediation works on Bedford Chambers, are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for crane access to carry out Leeds City Council intends in not less than 7 days to make an Order the effect of which will be that: 1. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Bedford Street, Leeds, for 30m from its junction with Park Row. 2. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to turn left out of Russell Street, Leeds, onto Park Row. 3. The bus gates located on Park Row, Infirmary Street and East Parade shall be suspended and available for use by all traffic following the diversion set out below. 4. No person shall cause or allow any vehicle to use the cycle lane on Park Row, Leeds, between Bedford Street and South Parade. 5. No person shall cause or allow any vehicle to stop, wait or park in the disabled parking bays located on the southern carriageway of South Parade, Leeds; nor in the taxi bays on the northern carriageway of South Parade, for approximately 30m from the junction with Park Row. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure of Bedford Street and banned left turn on Russell
Street will be available via: Park Row, Infirmary Street, East Parade. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained.
