TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U2213 MARLESFORD ROAD, HATCHESON

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U2213 Marlesford Road, Hatcheson from 944 metres west of the junction with Ford Road for 25 metres northbound to facilitate a new gas connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the B1116, the A12 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 12/01/2026 – 14/01/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE A12 MELTON AND U3622 SADDLEMAKERS LANE, MELTON AND BREDFIELD

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the A12 Melton, Melton from the junction with the B1438 to Woods Lane and the U3622 Saddlemakers Lane, Bredfield from the junction with the A12 for 40 metres eastbound to facilitate gas main replacement works.

Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the A12, the A1094, the B1069, the A1152 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 8pm on 10/01/2026 – 5am on 11/01/2026 with a further closure scheduled for associated works. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
