PUBLIC NOTICE
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(BEE LANE/COTTAGE LANE/PRIMROSE AVENUE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council have made an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on the following stretches of road:
• Bee Lane closed from outside property 46 to side of property Wolverhampton Electro Plating. It is anticipated that the closure will operate from 5th January 2026 until 7th January 2026. Vehicular Diversion Route: Wood Lane, Three Tuns Lane, Stafford Road and vice versa.
• Cottage Lane closed from its junction with Grovelands Crescent to its junction with Primrose Avenue. It is anticipated that the closure will operate from 8th January 2026 until 12th January 2026
• Primrose Avenue closed from its junction with Cottage Lane to rear of apartments 143-153. It is anticipated that the closure will operate from 8th January 2026 until 12th January 2026. Vehicular Diversion Route: Bee Lane, Primrose Avenue & vice versa
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken between the dates specified above.
The Order is required to facilitate trial hole works to confirm the location of existing apparatus by Highways UK Limited.
