ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – (HIGH WELL HILL LANE, SOUTH HIENDLEY)

SECTION 14

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 19) 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds to install telecoms duct/ cable and install telecoms chamber to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: High Well Hill Lane, South

Hiendley between Hodroyd Cottage to outside Hodroyd Hall. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of High Well Hill Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Brier Lane, George Street, Kirkgate Lane, High Well Hill Lane & vice versa. Access for businesses & emergency services maintained.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including

12th January 2026 to 14th January 2026,

08.00 hours to 18.00 hours daily, open at all other times, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
