ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –

SECTION 14

(BARDEN ROAD, WAKEFIELD)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 17) 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds for a new water supply connection to be carried out as follows: ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Barden Road, Wakefield outside number 73 Barden Road. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Barden Road. ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Barden Road, Linton Road, Barden Road & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including

12th January 2026 at 08.00 hours to 16th January 2026 at 20.00 hours, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
