THE COUNCIL INTENDS TO MAKE

(Lenborough Rd, Buckingham) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Lenborough Rd for approx. 35M. The closure is required whilst Openreach to install 2 poles commence on 21 January 2026. The proposed Order will come into operation on 21 January 2026, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Nash Rd, Thornborough) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Nash Rd for approx. 30M. Alternative route: Nash Rd, High St, Bletchley Rd, Winslow Rd, Stratford Rd, Thornborough Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Anglian Water are laying new water main works commence on 17 January 2026. The proposed Order will come into operation on 17 January 2026, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Magpie Way, Winslow) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Magpie Way for approx. 21M. Alternative route: Magpie Way, Little Horwood Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Anglian Water new connection works commence on 19 January 2026. The proposed Order will come into operation on 19 January 2026, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Buckingham Rd, Biddlesden) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Buckingham Rd for approx. 37M. Alternative route: Buckingham Rd, Whitfield Rd, Mill Rd, A43 Oxford Rd, Welsh Lan, Main Rd, Biddlesden Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Anglian Water repair/replace fire hydrant works commence on 19 January 2026. The proposed Order will come into operation on 19 January 2026, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Bicester Rd, Oakley) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Bicester Rd for approx. 1402M. Alternative route: B4011, A41, A418, B4011 and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Gigalclear test rod and rope works commence on 19 January 2026. The proposed Order will come into operation on 19 January 2026, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Claydon Hill, Steeple Claydon) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Claydon Hill for approx. 760M. Alternative route: Herds Hill, Buckingham Rd, Sandholme, Queen Catherine Rd, Steeple Claydon Rd, Middle Claydon, Sandhill Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Cityfibre installing ducting and building chambers works commence on 19 January 2026. The proposed Order will come into operation on 19 January 2026, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Main St, East St, Adstock) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Main St, East St for approx. 500M. Alternative route: A413, Thornborough Rd, Padbury Rd, Adstock Rd, Thornborouhg Rd and vice versa.The closure is required whilst Cityfibre ducting and building chamber works commence on 15 January 2026. The proposed Order will come into operation on 15 January 2026, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Station Rd, Swanbourne) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Station Rd for approx. 190M. Alternative route: Station Rd, Main St, Swanbourne Rd, Mursley Rd, Winslow Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Cityfibre ducting installation and chamber box builds works commence on 16 February 2026. The proposed Order will come into operation on 16 February 2026, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Bletchley Rd, Stewkley) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Bletchley Rd for approx. 999M. Alternative route: High St North, Soulbury Rd, Stewkley Rd, Great Brickhill Rd, Leighton Rd, Newton Rd, Church Rd, Drayton Rd, Bletchley Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst SGN gas mains replacement works commence on 5 January 2026. The proposed Order will come into operation on 5 January 2026, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Brill Rd, Chilton) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Brill Rd for approx. 1084M. Alternative route: Brill Rd, Thame Rd, Bicester Rd, Chearsley Rd, Chilton Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Tree cutting to stop damage to cables works commence on 7 January 2026. The proposed Order will come into operation on 7 January 2026, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Nash Rd, Great Horwood) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Nash Rd for approx. 61M. Alternative route: Nash Rd, Winslow Rd, Stratford Rd, Whaddon Rd, Stock Ln, Coddimoor Ln, Bletchley Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Anglian Water locate comms pipe and locate connections works commence on 6 January 2026. The proposed Order will come into operation on 6 January 2026, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Oakfield Rd, Aylesbury) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Oakfield Rd for approx. 42M. Alternative route: Tring Rd, High St, Vale Park Drive, Stocklake, Oakfield Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst telecoms pole works commence on 10 January 2026. The proposed Order will come into operation on 10 January 2026, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Tile House Rd, Lillingstone Dayrell) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Tile House Rd for approx. 43M. Alternative route: Tile House Rd, Towcester Rd, Lillingstone Rd, Main St, The Square, Buckingham Rd, Akeley Rd, Stowe Castle Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Anglian Water meter exchange commence on 7 January 2026. The proposed Order will come into operation on 7 January 2026, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Park Gate, Wing) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Park Gate for approx. 1904M. Alternative route: Cheddington Road, Ledburn, Ledburn Road, Leighton Road, Leighton Buzzard Bypass, Wing Road, Aylesbury Road and vice versa. The closure is required whilst ground investigation works commence on 16 February 2026. The proposed Order will come into operation on 16 February 2026, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Various Roads, Aylesbury Vale) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in the following roads. Chackmore Rd, Main St, Radclive: Halton Village, Wendover: Ledburn Rd, Ledburn: Thame Rd, Chearsley Rd, Chilton. The closure is required whilst surface dressing prep and works commence on 1 Jan 2026. PLEASE NOTE: The full duration of this multi-order is to allow coordination of a number of works, and flexibility given their weather dependant nature. The actual times that each road will be closed for will be much less than this and could be either day or night works only. The full details will be publicised on one.network when confirmed, with signs on the affected road erected two weeks before the closure. The proposed Order will come into operation on 1 January 2026, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Towcester Rd, Lillingstone Lovell) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Towcester Rd for approx. 1481M. Alternative route: A413, A43, A5, A422, A413 and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Anglian Water mains renewals commence on 5 January 2026. The proposed Order will come into operation on 5 January 2026, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Back St, Gawcott) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Back St for approx. 22M. Alternative route: New Inn Ln, Main St and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Anglian Water works commences on 5 January 2026. The proposed Order will come into operation on 5 January 2026, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

THE COUNCIL INTENDS TO MAKE

The Buckinghamshire Council (Public Byway No. 1/1, Parish of Longwick-cum-Ilmer) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order 2025 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any four wheeled motor vehicles from proceeding, except for access, in Public Byway No. 1/1, Parish of Longwick-cum-Ilmer from the junction with Lower Icknield Way to a point 230M southeast of the junction with Lower Icknield Way. The closure is required in the interest of public safety to enable repairs to the surface of the Byway. There is no suitable alternative route. The proposed Order will come into operation on 30 December 2025, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.
