What is happening?

THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit vehicles on:
High Street, Airth from 07.30 hours on 05/01/2026 until 17.00 hours on 11/01/2026. The prohibition is to allow for carriageway resurfacing works.
1. This Order temporarily closes High Street for a distance of approximately 190m from A905, Main Street to Market Cross.
Braemar Drive & Argyll Avenue, Falkirk from 07.30 hours on 05/01/2026 until 17.00 hours on 09/01/2026. The prohibition is to allow for carriageway resurfacing.
1. This Order temporarily closes Braemar Drive & Argyll Avenue from its junction with Thornhill Road for approximately 400m in an easterly direction.
2. The alternative route: Thornhill Road, Bruce Street, Argyll Avenue and vice versa.
Castlerankine Road, Denny from. 09:30 until 15:30 on 06/01/26 The prohibition is to allow for Telecommunications works to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Castlerankine Road, Denny from a point adjacent to Blaefaulds Road in a westerly direction for approximately 500 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: Blaefaulds Road, Drove Road, Castlerankine Road or vice versa.
Aitken Crescent, Redding from 09:30 until 18:00 on 08/01/26. The prohibition is to allow for Ironworks repairs to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Aitken Crescent, Redding from a point adjacent to Kilgannan Drive in a southerly direction for approximately 50 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: Kilgannan Drive, Porteous Place or vice versa.
THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2025
The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit waiting in:
B803 Bank Street, Falkirk from 09:30 until 18:00 on 06/01/26. The prohibition is to allow for Scottish Water works to be undertaken.
1. This order prohibits waiting on B803 Bank Street, Falkirk from a point adjacent to number 14 in a westerly direction on both sides for approximately 140 metres or thereby.
Greenhill Road/Laurelbank Avenue, Bonnybridge from 09:30 until 18:00 on 06/01/26. The prohibition is to allow for Ironworks repairs to be undertaken.
1. This order prohibits waiting on Greenhill Road/Laurelbank Avenue, Bonnybridge from a point adjacent to the junction in all directions on both sides for approximately 80 metres or thereby.
Princes Street/Queens Drive, California from 09:30 until 18:00 on 08/01/26. The prohibition is to allow for Ironworks repairs to be undertaken.
1. This order prohibits waiting on Princes Street/Queens Drive, California from a point adjacent to the junction in all directions on both sides for approximately 120 metres or thereby.
