Matlock Road - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
MATLOCK ROAD, AMBERGATE
WHEN: 10 January to 11 January 2026 (for 1 night between 22:00 to 05:00)
WHERE: Matlock Road, Ambergate approx. 350m north from its Jct. with A610 for 150m.
REASON: To facilitate tree works for safety.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A6, A38, A52, A515, A5012, A6 and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
