Victoria Road & Elm Grove Road, Rushmoor - Temporary Road Closures due to Gas Works

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – B3014 VICTORIA ROAD & ELM GROVE ROAD, RUSHMOOR

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

ROADS TO BE CLOSED:

• that part of Victoria Road between its junction with A325 Farnborough Road and its junction with Cove Road.

• that part of Elm Grove Road between its junction with Victoria Road and its junction with Sarah Way.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES:

Victoria Road – A325, Union Street, Prospect Road, B3014.

Elm Grove Road – Union Street, A325, B3014.

DURATION OF ORDER: from 5th January 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 8 weeks, working between the hours 07:30–16:30 and in operation for 24 hours a day).

The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for I&G Contractors to carry out gas main replacement work. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order or the associated works, please contact: Veronicajohnston@igcontractorsltd.com

I&G Contractors will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
