Bramble Way, South Normanton - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
BRAMBLE WAY, SOUTH NORMANTON
WHEN: 19 January to 22 January 2026 (20:00 to 06:00 each night).
WHERE: Bramble Way, South Normanton from its Jct. with the A38 for a distance of 60m in a southerly direction.
REASON: To facilitate A38 maintenance works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Bramble Way, Clover Nook Road, Cotes Park Lane, B600 Nottingham Road, B6019 to M1 J28 Interchange and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
