(Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of Closure 1 – B4084 High Street from its junction with U47115 Cherry Orchard for a distance of 30 metres in a north westerly direction and 30 metres in a south easterly direction.

Closure 2 – U47115 Cherry Orchard from its junction with B4084 High St for a distance of 15 metres in a north easterly direction.

Reason: Replacement manhole cover by STW.

Alternative route:

  • Diversion 1: B4084 High St (part), B4084 Worcester Rd, A4104 Three Springs Rd, B4536 Defford Rd, B4084 High St (part) and vice versa.

  • Diversion 2: U47115 Cherry Orchard (part), U47116 Whitcroft Rd, A4104 Station Rd, B4084 High St (part) and vice versa.

(U45213 Drinkwater Lane, Bretforton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of U45213 Drinkwater Ln from its junction with B4035 Main St for a distance of 25 metres in a southerly direction.

Reason: Safe working while accessing underground structure by Openreach.

Alternative route: B4035 Main St, U45214 Back Ln, U45213 Drinkwater Ln (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months.

Anticipated duration: 12 nights (22:00–06:00).

Commencing: 12 January 2026.

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2113 Broad Marston Rd from its junction with U45010 New Rd to its junction with C2113 Broad Marston Rd to Long Marston Rd.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Proposed Order: To close that part of U47019 Church Walk from its junction with B4536 Broad St to its junction with U47024 Church St.

Reason: Replacement gas main by Wales & West Utilities.

Alternative route: B4536 Defford Rd, U47027 St. Andrews Rd, U47028 Abbey Rd, U47019 Church Row and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months.

Anticipated duration: 39 days (24hrs).

Commencing: 12 January 2026.

(U46615 Back Lane, Great Comberton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of U46615 Back Ln from its junction with C2008 Back Ln to Pershore Rd to its junction with U46615 Church St.

Reason: New customer connection by Wales & West Utilities.

(U46421 Nafford Road / U46421 New Road and U46427 Glenmoor, Eckington) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of:

  1. U46421 Nafford Rd from its junction with U46422 Upper End for a distance of 350 metres in an easterly direction.

  2. U46421 New Rd from its junction with U46425 Pass St to its junction with U46427 Glenmoor.

  3. U46427 Glenmoor from its junction with U46421 New Rd for a distance of 191 metres in a southerly direction, for the entire length of the cul-de-sac.

    Reason: Replacement gas main by Wales & West Utilities Ltd.

Alternative route:

  • Diversion Closure 1: U46421 New Rd, B4080 Church St, B4080 Tewkesbury Rd, C2008 Hollands Rd, U46421 Nafford Rd (part) and vice versa.

  • Diversion Closure 2: U46425 Pass St, U46425 Hacketts Ln, U46422 Upper End and vice versa.

  • Diversion Closure 3: No diversion – cul-de-sac location.

The Worcestershire County Council (A44 Chadbury to Spetchley) (40 mph and 50 mph Speed Limit) Order 2011 (Temporary Suspension (Part)) Order 2026

Proposed order: To impose a temporary 30 mph speed limit in both directions on that part of the following roads:

  1. A44 Worcester Road from its junction with A44 Manor Roundabout for a distance of 400 metres in a north westerly direction.

  2. A44 Chadbury Bypass from its junction with A44 Manor Roundabout for a distance of 500 metres in an easterly direction.

  3. B4624 Worcester Road from its junction with A44 Manor Roundabout for a distance of 350 metres in a south easterly direction.

Reason: Replacement water main by STW.

Exemptions: Special Forces vehicles.

Maximum duration: 18 Months.

Anticipated duration: 35 days (24hrs).

(Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2004 (Variation) Order 2025

[Prohibition of Waiting (Revocation and Proposals) on Edward Street, George Street, Henry Street and Avon Street, Evesham]

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following length and side of road in Evesham:

  • Edward Street (Both sides): from its junction with Albert Road for 10 metres in a southerly direction.

  • George Street (Both sides): from its junction with Albert Road for 10 metres in a southerly direction; from its junction with Avon Street for 10 metres in a northerly direction.

  • Henry Street (Both sides): from its junction with Albert Road for 10 metres in a southerly direction; from its junction with Avon Street for 10 metres in a northerly direction; from its junction with Avon Street for 10 metres in a southerly direction.

  • Avon Street (Both sides): from its junction with Albert Road for 10 metres in an easterly direction.

Revocation of Prohibition of Waiting Mon - Sat, 8am - 6pm

  • Edward Street (Both sides): from its junction with Albert Road for 10 metres in a southerly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons vehicles.

[Prohibition of Waiting on Nogains, Pershore]

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following length and side of road in Pershore:

  • Nogains (North side): from a point 25 metres east of its junction with B4536 for 35 metres in an easterly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons vehicles.
