(PROHIBITION OF WAITING) AMENDMENT ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lincolnshire County Council propose to make an Order under their powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting as set out below: • Introduce the following restrictions on Bowl Alley Lane,
Mandatory School Keep Clear Mon-Fri 8-9.30am & 2-4.30pm outside the accesses to the schools, No Waiting at Any Time opposite the accesses to the schools and No Waiting Mon Fri 8-9.30am & 2-4.30pm from the proposed school keep clear to the existing no waiting at any time fronting St Lawrence School.
• Introduce the following restrictions on Stanhope Road, No Waiting at Any Time at the junction of Park Road and No Waiting Mon-Fri 8-9.30am & 2-4.30pm on the west side from Stanhope Terrace to property number 39.
• Introduce No Waiting at Any Time at the rear of the existing advisory school keep clears in the vicinity of property number 30 Louth Road.
Some exemptions are included which will permit waiting for disabled persons’ vehicles and for the purpose of picking up or setting down passengers, loading or unloading of goods, the maintenance of the roads, and works in connection with the supply of gas, electricity, water and telecommunications apparatus.
The Order will come into operation on 26th December 2025 and a copy of the Order and a plan showing the lengths of road concerned with a Statement of Reasons can be requested.

Any person who desires to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order may within 6 weeks after 22nd December 2025 make application to the High Court for this purpose.
