What is happening?

STAFFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 16/12/25 made an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit traffic along:

Cannock Chase. Burns Street, Church Street, Cleveland Drive, Crab Lane, Cumberland Road, Kingsway, Moss Road, Moss Street, Winchester Road, Moreton Street, Cecil Street, Arthur Street; Cannock. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=GB147052318. The Order will come into operation on 19/12/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 12/6/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the surface dressing preparation works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

B5014 Uttoxeter Rd, Blithbury. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=GB146424184. The Order will come into operation on 22/12/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed on the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Lysways Ln, Longdon Green. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=GB146019635. The Order will come into operation on 5/1/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 5/1/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Chorley Rd, Burntwood. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=GB146017230. The Order will come into operation on 19/12/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 19/12/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along:

Goosemoor Green, Lichfield. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=GB146841953. The Order will come into operation on 14/1/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 16/1/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the replacement of faulty meter works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

St Pauls Road, Rugeley. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=GB146818946. The Order will come into operation on 7/1/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 7/1/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the tree pruning works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will come into operation on 15/1/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 16/1/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the laying of duct works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
