Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 17th December 2025 in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Footpath 13 in the Parish of Gwennap between grid references SW7546240540 and SW7546440508.
The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because works are being executed on or near the public right of way to carry repairs to slumped hedge. The Order will come into operation on 18th December 2025 and the works are expected to be completed by the 17th June 2026. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.
The road was previously closed for reasons of public safety by notice under Section 14(2) of the RTRA 1984 from the 27th November 2025 for a period of up to 21 days.
Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 22nd December 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Truro.
This prohibition is necessary for gas mains replacement works and it is expected that the closure will be from 5th January 2026 to 9th February 2026. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.
Roads affected - St Marys Street, Duke Street and New Bridge Street for their entire lengths and Mitchell Hill between the junctions of New Bridge Street and James Place, Truro.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 22nd December 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Penryn.
This prohibition is necessary for patching works and it is expected that the closure will be from 7th January 2026 to 9th January 2026. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1600, weekdays only.
Road affected - Kernick Road, Penryn between the junction of Antron Hill and property number 51.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 22nd December 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Goonhavern.
This prohibition is necessary for surfacing works and it is expected that the closure will be from 5th January 2026 to 8th January 2026. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0700, weekdays only.
Road affected - Halt Road, Goonhavern for its entire length.

This prohibition is necessary for com-pipe repair works and it is expected that the closure will be from 19th January 2026 to 21st January 2026. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.
