NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – Various Locations Within Macclesfield/Poynton

Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.

Prohibition of traffic – Clumber Road, Poynton with Worth – For the full extent
South West Avenue, Bollington – For the full extent
Bollington Road, Bollington – For the full extent
Buxton Road West, Disley – For the full extent
Peter Street, Macclesfield – For the full extent
Brocklehurst Avenue, Macclesfield – For the full extent
Pexhill Road, Macclesfield – For the full extent
Pexhill Road, Gawsworth – For the full extent
Pexhill Road, Henbury – For the full extent
Chelford Road, Henbury – For the full extent
Macclesfield Road, Lower Withington – For the full extent
Chelford Road, Lower Withington – For the full extent

This order will come into operation on Monday 5th January 2026 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Friday 30th January 2026.

Notice Is Hereby Given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.

Prohibition of traffic – Standing Stone Road, Macclesfield Forest – For the full extent.
This order will come into operation on Friday 19th December 2025 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Tuesday 31st March 2026.
