TEMPORARY CLOSURE 407504 MIDDLE STREET (STROUD TOWN) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 407504 Middle Street Road from its junction with Acre Street to outside the property known as ‘Number 73’ for a distance of approximately 35 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for works by Severn Trent Water.

The reason for the said closure is for gas mains replacement works.

The reason for the said closure is for electrical works by National Grid.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF VARIOUS ROADS (BRIMSCOMBE & THRUPP PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the lengths of roads as detailed in the Schedule below.

The reason for the said closures is for various broadband works.

The said roads are expected to be closed on a rolling programme commencing from 5th January 2026 where the closures and durations may vary depending on the weather conditions. Further advance notices of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the said closures. It is anticipated that all works will be completed by 12th January 2026.

This Order may permit the said closures in any order, or simultaneously as required. It is anticipated that all works will be completed by 12th January 2026, however the order can remain in force for up to eighteen months.

The said roads are expected to be closed and restricted at various times from 5th January 2026, where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether they are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the said closures and restrictions taking effect. This Order may permit the said closures and restriction in any order, or simultaneously as required. It is anticipated that all works will be completed by 31st March 2026. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order can remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.
