What is happening?
SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U5920 THE STREET, WATTISFIELD
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U5920 The Street, Wattisfield from 150 metres south of Church Green Lane for 50 metres southbound to facilitate remedial water works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be The Street, the A143, B1113 Warren Road, The Street, Wattisfield Road, Walsham Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 15/12/2025 - 16/12/2025 from 8am - 6pm. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1112 TO THE A1101, ERISWELL
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the B1112 to the A1101, Eriswell from Lakenheath footpath 11 for 500 metres southbound to facilitate remedial water works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the B1112, the A134, the A1065, the B1112 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 8pm on 15/12/2025 - 5am on 16/12/2025. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1508 BURES ROAD, LITTLE CORNARD
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the B1508 Bures Road, Little Cornard from the junction with Spout Lane for 60 metres southbound to facilitate pole testing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the B158, the B1115, the A134, the B1508 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on 14/12/2025 from 9.30am – 3.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U5641 Mill Road, Occold from Cranley Cottages for 60 metres southbound to facilitate pole testing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be The Street, Church Street, the B1077, Cranley Road, Mill Road, Redlingfield, Church Road, Woodlane Road, Park Road, the road from the C533 to the C531 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on 14/12/2025 from 9.30am - 3.30pm. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

• Southbound - The Walk, Market Street, Station Road, Newgate, Blyburgate, Peddars Lane, the B1062 and no vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 15/12/2025 - 17/12/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C694 Church Road, Bradfield St George from 300 metres north-east of the junction with Bury Road for 450 metres northbound to facilitate installing and replacing overhead lines and poles. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Hollybush Corner, Felsham Road, Upper Road, Manor Road, The Green, The Street, Church Road, Bradfield New Road, Kingshall Street and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 15/12/2025 - 16/12/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U2408 The Green, Knodishall from 100 metres south of Clayhills Road for 100 metres southbound to facilitate a new electrical supply. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Clay Hills, the B1121, the B1119 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 6pm on 15/12/2025 - 3am on 16/12/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C498 STATION ROAD AND STOWUPLAND ROAD, STOWMARKET
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the following roads:
• C498 Station Road, Stowmarket from the level crossing for 20 metres west southbound
• C498 Stowupland Road, Stowmarket from the level crossing for 20 metres north westbound.
This is to facilitate level crossing testing and maintenance. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the B1113, the B1115, the A1308 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 11pm on 14/12/2025 - 6am on 15/12/2025. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C473 Hadleigh Road, Higham from 20 metres northbound of the entrance to Pound Farm and 20 metres southbound to facilitate repairs to the hydrant. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion routes will be:
• Traffic heading north to closure - the B1068, the A12, the B1070, Higham Road, Lower Raydon, Hadleigh Road and no vice versa
• Traffic heading south to closure - Hadleigh Road, Lower Raydon, Higham Road, Raydon, the B1070, the A12, the B1029, Upper Street, Higham Road, Stratford St Mary, Higham Road, Higham, the B1068 and no vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 15/12/2025 - 17/12/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the B1506 Bury Road, Gazeley from the junction with Icknield Way to the B1506/A14 westbound slip road to facilitate road markings.
Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the B1506, the A1304, the A142, the A14, the A11 with no vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 16/12/2025 - 18/12/2025 from 8pm - 6am. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
