U114 COW ROAD SPITTAL
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U114 Cow Road Spittal from 20 metres either side of the level crossing in the County of Northumberland The Order is to be effective from the 27th December 2025 until the 28th December 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 27th December 2025 until the 28th December 2025 between 23:00 hours and 08:30 hours.
There is no alternative route for vehicular traffic.

C47 DISTRICT BOUNDARY TO
NORTH CHARLTON CHATHILL
(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use of vehicular traffic on the following section of roads and to hereby bring into force a speed restriction on the following section of roads in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 19th January 2026 until the 19th July 2026. Road Closure:-
C47 District Boundary To North Charlton
A road closure will be in place which will prohibit the use of vehicular traffic on the following section of road:C47 District Boundary To North Charlton outside the gable end of number 6 The Cottages heading in a westerly direction for a length of 2078 metres. It is expected that the road will only be closed from the following dates:
• 19th January 2026 until the 31st January 2026 between the hours of 08:00 until 17:00.
• 2nd February 2026 until the 6th February 2026 between the hours of 08:00 until 17:00
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the A1, B6348, C43, C47 and vice versa.
Speed Restriction:- (60mph down to 40mph)
A speed restriction will hereby further be in force which will restrict the speed of all vehicular traffic from 60mph down to 40mph and no person shall drive their vehicle in excess of 40 mph on theC47 District Boundary To North Charlton outside the gable end of number 6 The Cottages heading in a westerly direction for a length of 2078 metres in the County of Northumberland. The speed restriction will be in force between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 on the following dates: • 19th January 2026 until the 31st January 2026
• 2nd February 2026 until the 6th February 2026
The speed restriction is to allow safe access for affected residents and businesses.

BERWICK-UPON-TWEED
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U109 Tweed Street from its junction with Railway Street heading in a southerly direction for a length of 179 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 19th January 2026 until the 30th January 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 19th January 2026 until the 23rd January 2026 however it will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 30th January 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being Railway Street, Castlegate, Tweed Street and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Northumbrian Water to excavate & install boundary box & meter. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.

C424 HIDE HILL BERWICK-UPON-TWEED
U107 SANDGATE BERWICK-UPON-TWEED
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections in the County of Northumberland.
• C424 Hide Hill from its junction with Woolmarket heading in a southerly direction for a length of 145 metres
• U107 Sandgate from its point with Hide Hill heading in a southerly direction for a length of 10 metres. The Order is to be effective from the 5th January 2026 until the 5th July 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 5th January 2026 until the 7th January 2026 between the hours of 09:00 until 17:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 5th July 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being Woolmarket, Ravensdowne Palace Street East, Palace Gardens, Palace Street, Sandgate and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections in the County of Northumberland.
• U1076 Humbleton Village Road from its junction with A697 Cottage Road To Akeld heading in a south westwards direction for a distance of 75 metres. • C50 Humbleton Junction To Burnhouse Road A from its junction with A697 Cottage Road To Akeld heading in a south eastwards direction for a distance of 75 metres.
The Order is to be effective from the 12th January 2026 until the 19th January 2026.
It is expected that the roads will only be closed on the 12th January 2026 between the hours of 09:30 - 15:30 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 19th January 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via U1076, C50, C48, A697 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

C19 CROOKHAM JUNCTION TO
TILLMOUTH PARK NORHAM
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C19 Crookham Junction To Tillmouth Park from its junction with A698 Cornhill To Wideopen Plantation Junction heading in a southwards direction for a distance of 200 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 26th January 2026 until the 2nd February 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 26th January 2026 between the hours of 08:00 - 18:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 2nd February 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via A698, A697, C19 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.
