Shuttlewood Road - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
SHUTTLEWOOD ROAD, BOLSOVER
WHEN: 12 January to 22 February 2026.
WHERE: Shuttlewood Road, Bolsover from a point adjacent property No. 149 for a distance of 100m in a southerly direction.
REASON: To facilitate construction of an access to a housing development.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Shuttlewood Road, Hill Top, A632 Station Road / Chesterfield Road, Buttermilk Lane, Bolsover Road, Shuttlewood Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
