Brockhurst Lane - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
BROCKHURST LANE, ASHOVER
WHEN: 09 January to 13 January 2026 (08:00 to 16:00 daily).
WHERE: Brockhurst Lane, Ashover between Oak Lane and Jct. with Hardwick Lane.
REASON: To facilitate road surface repairs.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Hardwick Lane, Matlock Road, Kelstedge Lane, Oaks Lane and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
