What is happening?

TEMPORARY BRIDLEWAY CLOSURE
PUBLIC BRIDLEWAY NO.9 (PART)
SHIPLEY
WHEN: 05 January to 06 July 2026.
WHERE: Close Bridleway No.9 where it crosses the dam for Shipley Lake. SK343869.
REASON: To facilitate public safety during reservoir safety works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: From the west of the closure take bridleway No.5, No.38, No.28, No.41 and bridleway No.9. Vice versa from the east.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of bridleway. The bridleway will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire 01629 533190.
