The council proposes to construct flat-top speed humps to reduce the speed of vehicles at the following locations:
Flat-top Speed humps: Location; length; height
• o/s 262/264 & 259/261 Galton Road; 4.75m; 75mm • o/s 216/218 & 217/215 Galton Road; 4.75m; 75mm
• o/s 136/138 & 135/137 Galton Road; 4.75m; 75mm
• o/s 94/96 & 93/95 Galton Road; 4.75m; 75mm
• o/s 44/46 & 41/43 Galton Road; 4.75m; 75mm
• side of 49/45 Lightwoods Hill (on Galton Road); 4.75m; 75mm
• between 15 Galton Road and side of 4 Lightwoods Hill; 6m; 75mm • o/s The Dog Public House; 6m; 75mm
Flat-top speed hump (for zebra crossing): Location; length; height
• Approx 110m from junction with Hagley Road West; 6m; 75mm
The council also proposes constructing a new pedestrian crossing (zebra crossing) on Galton Road, Smethwick, approximately 110m from the junction with Hagley Road West.
