Coggeshall - Temporary Road Closures due to Utility Works
What is happening?

(Potash Farm Road, Bradwell)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Potash Farm Road, Bradwell in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 335m south east of the junction of Compasses Road for a distance of approximately 20m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 26th January 2026 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03167119342 – Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while cover and frame repair works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via Compasses Road, Church Road, Doghouse Road, A120 and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 12th December 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(The Gravel, Coggeshall)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of The Gravel, Coggeshall in the District of Braintree, from its junction with West Street to its junction with Bridge Street a distance of approximately 90m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th February 2026 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (KA140RFSI2656726-RC – Gigaclear). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while fibre works are undertaken by Gigaclear.
An alternative route is available via B1024, A12, A120, B1024 and vice versa vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 12th December 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
