Notice is hereby given that the Isle of Wight Council in not less than seven days from the appearance of this Notice, under Section 14 (1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to make the following Orders:

The Isle of Wight Council (Kennel Lane, Chale, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 3 2025
Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that, for one shift between Monday 15 December 2025, and Wednesday 17 December 2025, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Kennel Lane, Chale, for its entire length. a) Road Closure – Belgrave Road Ventnor, between its junction with Alpine Road for a distance of 43 metres
b) Road Closure – Esplanade Road Ventnor, Between its junction with Marine Parade for a distance of 53m northwest thereof, and

The Isle of Wight Council (Cycle Track from Sandown to Newport, Sandown, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrians and Cyclists) Order No 6 2025

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between Friday 5 December 2025 and Friday 16 January 2026, the following roads will be closed at all times for a period of approximately one to 15 days within this period, or when the works have been completed, to enable carriageway maintenance, lining and investigation works, and any associated site works, to be undertaken. No vehicle or person may use or cause any animal to use the following roads; and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road were indicated by traffic signs. These works may include carriageway and footway reconstruction, resurfacing works, reflective stud work and lining works. In some cases, it may be necessary to close these sections of roads on more than one occasion within this timeframe. Exact dates, durations and access information will be communicated to affected businesses and residents via letter and on street advanced warning signs before the scheme commences. The Isle of Wight Council (Fishbourne Lane, Fishbourne, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 4 2025 – Fishbourne Road will be closed between the ferry entrance / exit to the end of the highway in a northern direction.

The Isle of Wight Council (Oaklands Close, Wootton, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 1 2025 – Oaklands Close will be closed for its entire length.

The Isle of Wight Council (Marlborough Road, Ryde, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 7 2025 – Marlborough Road will be closed for its entire length.

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between Friday 5 December 2025 and Friday 16 January 2026 the following roads will be closed either between 0600 and 1800 hours or 1800 and 0600 hours for a period of approximately one to 15 days within this period, or when the works have been completed, to enable carriageway maintenance, surfacing, hedge and quartering, lining and cats eyes works, and any associated site works, to be undertaken. No vehicle or person may use or cause any animal to use the following roads; and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road were indicated by traffic signs. These works may include carriageway and footway reconstruction, resurfacing works, reflective stud work and lining works.
