Mattishall, 20mph Speed Limit Zone Implementation

What is happening?

THE NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL

(MATTISHALL, VARIOUS ROADS) (20 MPH SPEED LIMIT ZONE) ORDER 2025

The Norfolk County Council has made the aforementioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on 1st December 2025, and which comes into effect 8th December 2025.

The effect of this Order is to introduce a 20mph Speed Limit Zone and thereby prohibit any motor vehicle from exceeding 20 miles per hour along the lengths of road specified below:

Larwood Drive

From its junction with the C200 Dereham Road for 80 metres southwards, including turning heads.

Jacob Drive

From its junction with Larwood Drive for 105 metres eastwards and then northwards including turning heads.

Hewitt Drive

From its junction with Larwood Drive for 150 metres westwards and then southwards including turning heads.

A copy of the Order and a plan can be viewed online at: www.norfolk.citizenspace.com. Copies are also available for inspection at: Norfolk County Council, County Hall, Norwich, NR1 2DH and at the offices of Breckland District Council, Elizabeth House, Walpole Loke, Dereham NR19 1EE, during normal office hours.
