Notice Of Making Of An Order Section 118 Of The Highways Act 1980 - (King's Lynn FP17 (Part)) Extinguishment Order 2025
The above Order, made on the 19th of November 2025 under Section 118 of the Highways Act 1980 will extinguish the full width of part of Footpath No. 17 in the Borough of King's Lynn starting from a point on Footpath No. 17 at grid reference TF 6138 1970 running in an east north-east direction for approximately 50 metres to grid reference TF6142 1971 where it turns to run in a generally south direction for approximately 1075 metres to grid reference TF6122 1871, then turning to run in a south south-west direction for approximately 106 metres to meet Clenchwarton Road (C39) at grid reference TF6113 1866.
A copy of the Order and the Order Map may be seen free of charge at: County Hall, Martineau Lane, Norwich, and at the offices of King's Lynn and West Norfolk Borough Council, Kings Court, Chapel Street, King's Lynn, PE30 1EX during normal office hours or purchased at a cost of £5.00 from the undersigned. Alternatively, it is available electronically free of charge from: legalordersandregisters@norfolk.gov.uk.
Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to the Senior Legal Orders Officer, Highways, Norfolk County Council, Martineau Lane, Norwich, NR1 2DH or to: legalordersandregisters@norfolk.gov.uk not later than 2nd January 2026. Please state the grounds on which they are made. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Norfolk County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation, any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
