Pasture Street Level Crossing - Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic
What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)(a)
PASTURE STREET LEVEL CROSSING, GRIMSBY(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC - TTRO 25-162) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council intends to make, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, an Order, the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle, pedestrian or cycle from PROCEEDING along the below sections of highway:
• PASTURE STREET LEVEL CROSSING - Part length, from a point 20 meters west of PASTURE STREET LEVEL CROSSING to a point 20 metres east of PASTURE STREET LEVEL CROSSING.
Alternative route: Pasture Street, Hainton Avenue, Wintringham Road, Ainslie Street, Doughty Road, Town Hall Square, East Street, Pasture Street (Reverse route does not apply)
This temporary prohibition is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road by Network Rail. These works are detailed as renew cattleguard.
The Order will come into operation on Wednesday, 14 January 2026, and will continue in force for a period not exceeding 18 months unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport, or until completion of the works (whichever is the earlier).
The closure is expected to remain in place until Thursday, 15 January 2026. Definitive dates and times will be notified with on-site advanced warning signs.
