Mansfield Road - Temporary Prohibition of Traffic To Gas Mains Replacement Works
What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 (AS AMENDED) SECTION 14(2)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that Birmingham City Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to prevent any vehicle from proceeding along Mansfield Road between its junction with Stockfield Road and its junction with Yardley Road.
The temporary Order is required to enable Gas Mains Replacement Works to be carried out safely.
An alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be signed on site.
Access to frontages will be maintained as necessary.
These prohibitions shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
The Order will come into operation on Monday 15th December 2025 and will remain in force for a period of 30 weeks or until the works are completed whichever is the earlier.
