Pencombe, Herefordshire – Temporary Road Closure due to Wall Rebuild Works

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: C1110 From Little Maidenhyde, Pencombe, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1110 From Little Maidenhyde, Pencombe, from Little Maidenhyde to The Birches.
Grid Ref: 356467/254722. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1110 onto the C1114, onto the A417, onto the Bowley Lane, onto the C1110 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to parapet wall rebuild works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 8th of December 2025 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 9 days.
