THE A631 TRUNK ROAD (MEADOWHALL ROUNDABOUT TO TINSLEY ROUNDABOUT)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited (Company No. 09346363) has made an Order on the A631 Trunk Road, in the County of South Yorkshire, to enable maintenance and improvement works to be carried out in safety.
The works are expected to take place overnight between 8pm and 6am during a period starting on 2 January 2026 and ending on 23 December 2026.
The effect of the Order will be to impose prohibitions on the A631, in both directions, between Meadowhall Roundabout and Tinsley Roundabout (including all roundabouts).
During any road closures traffic will be diverted via alternative junctions of the A631, M1 and local roads. These diversions will be clearly indicated by traffic signs throughout the area.

The prohibitions will not apply to emergency services, works, or winter maintenance vehicles. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs.
The Order comes into force on 1 January 2026 and will expire on 23 December 2026.
