Tomlins Field Road, Orcop – Temporary Road Closure due to Overhead Cabling Works
What is happening?
Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: U71418, Tomlins Field Road, Orcop, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U71418, Tomlins Field Road, Orcop, approx 75 mtrs south west of junction with the C1235. Grid Ref: 348099/228011. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1235 onto the U71419 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to overhead cabling works and the likelihood of danger to the public whilst the works are taking place.
The said closure will come into force on 15th of December 2025 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
