Footpath No. 25, Northam - Temporary Prohibition of Traffic
What is happening?
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14
DEVON COUNTY COUNCIL (FOOTPATH NO. 25, NORTHAM) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order. From: Friday 5th December 2025 To: Thursday 4th June 2026
No persons shall proceed on the section of the affected path except for access to land or premises on or adjacent to that length of path. The order will continue in force for a period not exceeding six months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner.
Public right of way affected: Footpath No. 25, Northam between Pier House and Nassau Court. The alternative route is via Merley Road, between Pier House and behind the holiday park.
The closure is necessary due to sea wall defence works. Further information may be obtained by contacting Public Rights of Way on 0345 155 1004.
