TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990
The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highways (East Midlands) (No.13) Order 2025” authorising the stopping up of a northern and southern part width of Thane Road at Beeston, in the Borough of Broxtowe. This is to enable development as permitted by Broxtowe Borough Council under references 14/00515/OUT and 21/00672/REM.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, PO Box 1393, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE99 5FQ or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/EM/S247/6132). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Nottinghamshire County Council, County Hall, Loughborough Road, West Bridgford, NG2 7QP.
Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 11 December 2025. N Crass, Casework Manager
