(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Harvest Road from its junction with Radley Avenue to outside number 3 Harvest Road from Monday 15th December until Friday 19th December 2025.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order will be via local diversions.
The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Electrical works).

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Scholes Lane from its junction with A629 Upper Wortley Road for a distance of approximately 950m in a north westerly direction on Wednesday 17th December 2025 between the hours of 9am and 3pm.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order will be via A629 Upper Wortley Road, B6086 Brook Hill, B6086 Thorpe Street, Wentworth Road, Scholes Village and vice versa.
The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Tree cutting works).

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Thrybergh Lane from its junction with Back Lane to its junction with Thrybergh Lane, Ravenfield on Monday 22nd December 2025.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative route will be via School Lane, Back Lane, Doncaster Road, Ravenfield Lane and vice versa.
The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Fibre extension works).

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any pedestrian from proceeding along the three parts of footpath specified in the Schedule to this notice for periods of time between Monday 12th January and Monday 2nd February 2026.Access will be maintained to affected properties at all times.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative routes for pedestrians affected by the Order will be via local neighbouring footpaths.
The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the parts of footpath (Installation of new gas services).

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any pedestrian from proceeding along that part of Sunnybank Crescent Footpath 1 from its junction with Buckingham Way to its junction with Whitehill Lane from Monday 5th January until Sunday 11th January 2026 NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for pedestrians will be via the footways adjacent to Buckingham Way, Whitehill Lane and vice versa.
The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the footpath (Sewer repairs).

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC AND
TEMPORARY 30 MILES PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT RESTRICTION)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to:-
1. To prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of A631 West Bawtry Road, Whiston from its junction with Rotherway roundabout for a distance of approximately 200m in an easterly direction and
2. To prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of A630 West Bawtry Road, Canklow between Canklow roundabout and Rotherway roundabout eastbound only ((ingress and egress allowed for properties on the service road via Canklow Meadows) on the following dates:
(i) From 8pm on Tuesday 13th January until 6am on Wednesday 14th. January 2026.
(ii) From 8pm on Friday 20th February until 6am on Saturday 21st. February 2026.
(iii) F rom 8pm on Friday 27th February until 6am on Saturday 28th. February 2026.
There are two provisional dates due to inclement weather.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative route will be via A630 West Bawtry Road, A630 Centenary Way, Canklow and Rotherham town centre, A630 Fitzwilliam Road and A6123 Herringthorpe Valley Road.
3. Temporarily suspend part of The Rotherham Borough Council (Various Roads,
Rotherham) (Speed Limits and Speed Derestriction) (Consolidation) Order 2004 and to reduce from 50 miles hour to 30 miles per hour the speed limit for motor vehicles travelling along the three parts of road specified in the schedule to this notice from Tuesday 13th January until Monday 13th July 2026.
SCHEDULE
(i) A630 West Bawtry Road, Canklow from a point approximately 200m west of its junction with Rotherway roundabout (eastbound only).
(ii) A630 Rotherway roundabout, Whiston around the circulatory junction.
(iii) A631 West Bawtry Road, Moorgate from its junction with Rotherway roundabout for a distance of approximately 250m in an easterly direction.

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any pedestrian from proceeding along that part of Public Footpath No.5 Thorpe Hesley specified in item (i) of the Schedule to this notice and to prohibit any pedestrian and horse rider from proceeding along that part of Public Bridleway No.6 Thorpe Hesley specified in item (ii) of the Schedule to this notice from Monday 15th December 2025 for a period of 6 months.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for pedestrians and horse riders affected by the Order will be via signed diversions.
The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the footpath and bridleway (Coal Authority works to construct a new water treatment scheme).
SCHEDULE
(i) T hat part of Public Footpath No.5 Thorpe Hesley commencing from a point at Grid Reference SK 3822 9633 and proceeding in a south easterly direction for a distance of 415m to a point at Grid Reference SK 3857 9615.
